Default Any Ideas What This Chord Might Be?

    GCEA
    2012

I've been trying to figure out what to call this chord, but so far the only thing I've been able to come up with is F/B.

    Any ideas?

gotta love those more obscure chords,

    EEK!

that's not a chord! 2012 is the end of the Mayan calandar and the END OF THE WORLD!

you might be playing with fire.
It's not the size that is important, it's how you use it.

Really, if you want to look at it in terms of an F chord, it's an F(add #11).

The 11 of an F chord is Bb. Since this tacks on a B natural, it's a #11.

But I think "Mayan Apocalypse Chord" has a better ring to it.

check this website out, you can put any fingering you want in. Make sure you put it on C tuning though.

According to that site, 2012 is not a chord though

Argh--how do you clear ALL the notes off the fretboard to start over? This is a cool site, but it's kinda frustrating. Maybe I need to go eat.

I've used this site before for finding second/third positions of chords.
I didn't realise that you could play with your own finger positions. Very useful tool, however on checking on some more unusal chords that I know already, quite a few are not listed.
Back to working out which notes make up each chord!
